do not know if you will remember the miniskirts to the crisis ... If not, well, I would remember:

In that post he said that as the economy is for many expenses, which are imposed with Poquita miniskirts fabric, as a matter austerity in the use of material, and therefore also a matter of ecology.

Anyway, I found more pictures of the series, so I leave here in case someone wants to perform a study of economic impact material savings in the production of mini-skirts ":))

Condolence Letter From Church

apparently for a couple of days is going through the network a 350MB file containing a lot of e-mail server of the British company ACS: Law. Some of these emails would be revealing the dirty practices (to put it mildly) they employ. In

TorrentFreak: ACS: Anti-Piracy Law Law Firm Torn Apart By Leaked Emails

a bit short:

ACS: Law is a British firm of lawyers committed to sending thousands of threatening letters and extortion allegedly people had shared copyrighted files on BitTorrent. To locate these people, seeking court orders that force ISPs to disclose the identity of the IPs that they believe have violated the law.

is a known fact that this form of "identify" people on P2P networks is harmful and leads to a lot of mistakes. Moreover, the intention of the threat is clear: fear Meter people to pay and thus avoid a lawsuit, regardless of whether the end that application were to be admitted or not , and if of admission would result in a sentence conviction or acquittal.

In this thread, with nearly 400 pages in this moment, those affected discuss threats ACS: Law and another firm called Davenport Lyons: The official ACS: LAW / Davenport-Lyons lawsuit discussion (go to last page .)

These are those companies whose customers producing and copyright associations that have their own team of lawyers threats. His bad reputation reached the ears of Anonymous and who recently came under attack DDoS similar to the MPAA, RIAA, BPI, etc.. in a call under the name of "Operation: Payback".

The owner of ACS: Law, Andrew Crossley , mocked the issue saying they were "typical of pirate nonsense" and that much more worried "that his train was delayed 10 minutes or having to wait in a queue to order a coffee. " "Great !...", thing added wryly. Obviously that Crossley did not know who (or rather, what) is anonymous.

The server was again attacked, and after recovering, rather than the home page showed a default directory listing web site, which was empty except for a file that accidentally contained a backup of the entire site, including e-mails and passwords. TorrentFreak That's according to what someone has told the attacking group.

The e-mails have been filtered through various sites including TPB, as a compressed file .

The theme continues. Some e-mails here are commenting on and beyond , is that the file and must have been around the world several times. The event is already up on wikipedia .

under DoS attack?

web sites MPAA Aiplex and do not respond yesterday. Reddit

TorrentFreak and have echo echo 4chan/anon an alleged call to a DoS attack against the MPAA, so everything indicates that we are given based chalk well.

For its part, India's Aiplex is dedicated to carrying out attacks against sites that host movies or links to them, subject to agreement by producers and others, ie, in plan "mercenary." It appears that one or some anonymous have taken the opportunity to give these a little of his own medicine.

As they said in The Big Lebowski: " This is what happens when you give to a stranger ass."

Incidentally Those who are negotiating ACTA know nothing about 4chan, right?.

Felipe Gonzalez on the legalization of drugs I

The other day was a French politician got to "observer of the crime," he said is to legalize drugs . A few days later, Felipe González (yes, the former president got a wise ) claims in Mexico a international drug legalization "to end the drug war" (!?).

could not missing professor at the University of Aberdeen, Roger Pertwee. Pertwee, incidentally, is also director of pharmacology of GW Pharmaceuticals, a company dedicated to the production of medicinal cannabis for therapeutic purposes (not for fumárselos, although I suppose it is hopeless.) That is, the guy just does not lack interest.

Finally the general director of the Foundation to Assist the Substance abuse (FAD), Ignacio Calderon, spoke on the topic The ADF says that legalizing drugs would reduce drug given by Gonzalez but would extend the use (Europe Press):
The general director of the Foundation to Assist the Substance abuse (FAD), Ignacio Calderon, said that "legalization would reduce the conflicts of the drug," but also "extend consumption and problems, and the fantasy of a mature users and to control consumption is a complete naivety ", and compared with the situation" that exists today with alcohol. "

[...] Indeed, one thing about comments like "Well, alcohol is legal and I do not see the problem"
" is estimated that in 2002 the harmful use of alcohol caused 2.3 million deaths premature worldwide and 4.4% of the global burden of disease .

( World Health Organization )

English Scientific Society of Studies on Alcohol, Alcohol and Drug Addiction ( Socidrogalcohol ) also has some data to the European level. One of the most interesting documents is ALCOHOL IN EUROPE - A public health perspective .

A Spell To Get Popular

"It's a well documented fact that guys never ask for directions. This is biological. For this you need many millions of sperm to find an egg, despite the fact that the egg is, in relation to them, the size of Wisconsin. "

- Dave Barry

Note .- nerd actually an egg is about 0.2 mm. in diameter, while a sperm head is 3 microns. approx. Without rounding, the ratio of sizes would become of 1:85.000. Therefore, if we compare the sperm with participants in a marathon where each person holds an average of 1 meter space square target (egg) about the size of about 8 football fields.

Although this is not Wisconsin, the way to the uterus is not exactly a diabolical maze. I guess then that Dave is quite right in what he says:)))

Raquel Darrian In The Mntal Ward

New programming jargon

Stack Overflow In asked readers for possible new slang terms, or invented by them or others in his circle (friends, colleagues and other people nearby). As expected, the result is mostly a collection of jokes of the guild, some are pretty horny.

reproduce a few that I especially liked. Not translate because some lose their meaning, and also because I do not want nothing, nothing (as you see, try to be be honest). Equal to another if you like to translate and put them in your blog or wherever.

Well, are these:

- Bugfoot : A bug That isn't reproducible and has been sighted by only one person. See "Loch Ness Monster Bug".

- Hindenbug : A catastrophic data-destroying bug. Oh, the humanity!

- Heisenbug / Schrödingbug : A bug that disappears or alters its characteristics when an attempt is made to study it.

- Higgs-Bugson : A hypothetical bug predicted to exist based on a small number of possibly related event log entries and vague anecdotal reports from users, but it is difficult (if not impossible) to reproduce on a dev machine because you don't really know if it's there, and if it is there what is causing it.

- Unicorny : An adjective to describe a feature that’s so early in the planning stages that it might as well be imaginary. This one comes from Rails Core Team member Yehuda Katz, who used it in his closing keynote at last year’s Windy City Rails to describe some of Rails’ upcoming features.

- Drug Report : A bug report so utterly incomprehensible that whoever submitted it must have been smoking crack.

- Yoda Conditions : The act of using if (constant == variable) instead of if (variable == constant) . It’s like saying “If blue is the sky”.

- IRQed : Annoyed by interruptions. Pronounced like and has a similar meaning to “irked”.

- Reality 101 Failure : The program (or more likely feature of a program) does exactly what was asked for, but when it’s deployed it turns out that the problem was misunderstood and the program is basically useless.

- Refuctoring : The process of taking a well-designed piece of code and, through a series of small, reversible changes, making it completely unmaintainable by anyone except yourself. It’s job security!

- Duck : A feature added for no other reason than to draw management attention and be removed, thus avoiding unnecessary changes in other aspects of the product. ( Más info y un ejemplo real ).

- Exception Handling Pokemon: For When You just gotta catch 'em all!

can see that the situations described are very real, at least I've seen most of them.

strikes me especially Heisenbug / Schrödingbug . These bugs are among the bastards, because everything indicates that regardless of what every state (forgive the redundancy), the bug will be there or not, and what is worse: At the end of a kitten dies (or not).

also the Higgs-Bugson , because the Higgs boson is called, metaphorically, "God particle" because it could be this bug called "the bug of God": It seems that you are laughing at you (and that's fucking annoying). Via

How Long Salmon Sealed

Public Diplomacy Is Obama effect as scientific fact?

World Public Opinion echoes recent study by the BBC on countries' external image. Emphasizes improving the U.S. image, noting that according to the results of the BBC series that has developed since 2005 is the first time that there will be an emporer of it. One of the conclusions of the study is that this improvement has been at the expense of lower elsewhere. The study has been performed GlobeSacan / PIPA commissioned by the BBC.

Germany remains the champion (59% of respondents had a positive image of the country and 14% negative, 45% balance), followed by Japan (32% as balance, 53% positive), United Kingdom (32% as balance, 53% positive) and Canada (37% as balance, 51% positive) all above 50% in terms of positive feedback. Asked by the EU as a whole reach figures of 35%, 53% positive ones. All data are in balance we call positive feedback after subtracting the negative.

The focus of the study is the variation U.S. image abroad in the world . This reveals an improvement in perceptions of U.S. and particularly in a country like Spain where it has fallen from 56% with a negative view of the previous study 33% of negative opinions on this, compared to 40% significantly positive. Something similar has happened in France, Canada and Chile. On the other hand the only countries where the U.S. image has lost whole are Turkey and India.
The results seem to confirm that after a year of Obama administration, the existence of the effect is real Obama , effect to which we alluded to in depth in our publication: The Obama effect and U.S. Public Diplomacy: Bush to Obama

The international community of experts in public diplomacy by @ pvil

A group of experts in public diplomacy has created a network to promote the exchange of the international scientific community in this field. With pleasure I find some familiar faces, many thanks to twitter and of course I encourage you to participate in discussions and proposals.
As part of the network h and launched a discussion group of the influence on the diplomacy of Technology Information and Communication (Digital Public Diplomacy) where you are welcome. Now we're talking about whether diplomats should / could / should keep blogging and the consequences that would entail.
I also get an alert for a post the Fletcher School that is precisely the topic of virtual public diplomacy and to enrich the debate, I invite you to read carefully.

Act according to El Pais

" With this more precise wording at the request of the legal services of the State, it is clear that the Commission can not be judge and party, ie, it can initiate and pursue the complaint, a fear that groups had denounced the Internet and intellectual property experts feared that the body became a kind of attorney general Internet. "

With this sorry crap seeks the country ended the controversy over the Act Sinde, as if we were idiots, as if the Commission did not know that precisely represents record labels, producers and companies rights management, just interested in closing the first pages.

The "journalism" at the power, nothing new of course, and also the author is a known mercenary whose last little job less than a week.

Vale, now go and complain that journalism is in crisis and all that. " What is the political crisis because there is an honest politician, and while journalists go to the little hand of their political groups so exaggerated nerve, the future of journalism will be in the unemployment line.

course, blogs and especially the so-called citizen journalism have for quite some time a golden opportunity to take over. I hope they do well and definitely win the confidence of the people. Traditional journalism is a lost cause.

How Much Turmeric For Cellulitis

La Caixa: Do not bother us less than 600 euros

I took this picture the other day in an office of La Caixa:

understand that promotes the use of ATM for simple operations, and besides I have no problem doing with 600, 1,000 or 2,000 euros. Even I prefer, because an ATM is much more pleasant that most employees of La Caixa across this country.

addition, in order not to suffer due to queues there is only one line open box, not having to interrupt the conversation two or three times because their phone rings, wait for the employee to report an operating simple to be known but did not know, not to hear how I lie every time they try to sell me this or that "wonderful" product, etc. etc. .. etc., always try to use the ATM.

But in general, and as lower limit, 600 euros (100,000 pesetas) seems to me, too.

With what they charge for everything, "La Caixa is a very expensive box," the fact that by refusing system devote three minutes to be able to enter or refund an amount less than or equal to 600 euros I think it is Customer contempt, or rather, another contempt of many that characterize La Caixa.

I think the poster says " Hey man, do not bother us, use the fucking machine when you come to bring money for us to do business with ." And they charge you up and go every year "account maintenance costs, and card (the cashier) ... Would not it be right that you should pay an incentive to change dizzy, and mistreat putearte?

Personally, of the various boxes and benches for those who've been a customer, the customer care of La Caixa I find the worst of all by far. The problem is not a thing, but the long list of absurdities that are accumulating.

De La Caixa is much talk both inside and outside the Internet, and not for good. I do not know if this "social institution" is considering increasing that is gaining notoriety, but there are things which, unfortunately, only fix is \u200b\u200bto spend enough time until they fall under its own weight.

In this universe there are limits, except for human stupidity, of course ;-)

What To Write In A Batcherlorette Party Card

government talk tomorrow ... e-government today

do eternal For the previous post ... Read
the question by @ carlosguadian on his blog today. Open debate on it. Professionalising
know what it means the roost, then YES. Of course you need to know what the fuss is about, having a global vision of the scene, knowing ahead, get on planes and parachute jump but be bold without being reckless ...
By putting flesh on the grill Or is that the former Minister Sevilla (and others who may not advocate the professionalization of the e-administration) agree with the non-professional policy?
opens interesting debate.
If experts claim devocationalise e-administration, or at least be professional and intermediate, half-horse between political knowledge and the expertise of e-government, I deduce two conclusions: 1
. will assume as much for nuetsros representatives what about our politicians? Will participative citizens finally decide to take political positions, not their personal career ambitions but by their abilities to the common good? (A kind of return to the origins of politikom zoom) Back to the roots!
and 2. I will always be in line with measures that advocate open-mindedness in our civil service, in our politicians and our citizens, support of truth and not for the gallery, multidisciplinary profiles of mentalidadeds open and able to absorb more knowledge. To this should go through the blender so our nineteenth access systems to the public as the dynamics of citizen participation obsolete (outdated, especially since the advent of ICT and the rise of the public expressed, share and participation which let him, of course-)
Well, what we need and urgency are good professionals in this whole concoction, to stop tiing which we have already been busy and we can finally see the new dawn of e-administration, e-policy and e-citizenship (must be recognized that this is the latter which is progressing well)
I said and published.
